New visitors to Hartlepool are always surprised by the range of things to do and places to visit. Hartlepool has a wealth of things to do but is also a great central location base for visiting other amazing surrounding towns, villages and areas.
Listing things to do or to see is almost impossible, but we will give it a go:
- Visit Hartlepool Marina is a must for anyone!
- Within the Marina is the Historic Quay and Maritime Museum.
- Jump 360 is an indoor trampoline park for a fun-filled day out for the family
- Hartlepool has a 7-screen state-of-the-art cinema.
- Hartlepool is a Mecca for cyclists, either passing through or using it as a central location to visit the wider Tees Valley and all the different cycling routes.
- Hartlepool has some dramatic and eclectic landscapes contrasting with brutal industrial monoliths. Hartlepool council offer a range of guided walks (view or print off at home) through our beautiful and tranquil scenery.

- Seaton Carew Cricket ground (known as Hornsby Park) is the home of Cricket in Seaton
- Within a 30 mile drive are such attractions as historic Durham, Beamish Museum, North Yorkshire Moors, Newcastle, Sunderland and the Metro Centre.
